Born in 1985, the DMC Classic Solo Showcase is DMC’s traditional format, where DJs compete for the prestigious DMC Classic World Champion title. Six minutes to build a complete performance through scratching, beat juggling, technique, creativity and musicality.

How it works

Online or live
Qualification
A 2-minute qualifying routine, online or live at official DMC Italia events. A jury selects who advances to the Italian final.

One stage, one routine
Italian final
A 6-minute routine. One DJ, one stage, zero safety net. The jury judges technique, execution, creativity, music selection and how the routine is built.
The winner becomes the DMC Classic Italian Champion and represents Italy at the DMC World DJ Championships.

Rules valid for the Italian rounds. At the World Finals, equipment is decided by DMC International.
