How it works

Online or live
Qualification
A 60-second qualifying routine, online or live at official DMC Italia events. A jury selects the finalists.

Showcase or tournament
Italian final
Showcase: each finalist presents an individual 2-minute showcase. Whoever convinces the jury most wins.
Tournament: single-elimination head-to-head, 16 bars per round over beats of increasing tempo. The exact format — showcase or tournament — is announced by DMC Italia for each edition.
The winner becomes the DMC Scratch Italian Champion and represents Italy at the DMC World DJ Championships.
