Born in Italy in 2006, Killa Combat Scratch is a head-to-head scratch battle created by DJ Skizo in collaboration with the Italian DMC scene. The format tests improvisation skills alone: no prepared routines, only direct battles built on scratching, technique, timing, musicality and the ability to react on the spot. DJs face off over surprise beats, chosen or supplied by the judges, using only turntables and a mixer. An essential format, designed to bring scratching to its most immediate and competitive dimension.
